Infrastructure and Mining
Port of Esperance - Support Bilfinger Berger Services in a business case study and in the design and project management of a container based nickel concentrate receival system to comply with strict environmental constraints. The design and implementation of a container discharge system for environmentally sensitive materials.
FMG Cloudbreak Mine – Provide project management assistance and contract administration for an overburden removal and stacking system for US based company FLSmidth Rahco, oversee the fabrication of 3000t of structural steel.
Esperance Port Authority – Contracted to BBS for an eight month engineering audit of Port assets, including assessment of nickel and iron ore circuits, preparation of reports, recommendations and development of concepts to improve the efficiency of the Ports operations and to deal with environmental issues.
Rio Tinto WA – In conjunction with BIS Industrial logistics participate in a comprehensive feasibility study for a 25 million tonne per annum autonomous vehicle ore transportation system, specifically the development of an automated ore loading and unloading system and maintenance facilities.
Alcoa Pinjarra and Wagerup - Project manage implementation of hydro blasting and de-scaling operations for Brambles Industrial Services.
WMC Olympic Dam - for Brambles industrial Services, review operations and produce a report and recommendations related to underground backfilling operations, covering the mining of limestone, the production of cement aggregate fill and backfilling.
Dartbrook Coal and Other Coal Mines – A joint venture with Western Global and Brambles Australia - over a 3 year period to undertake a comprehensive study of mine underground supply operations and to develop designs and concepts for an integrated underground supply and service system to service multiple mines from a supply hub.
Albany Port Authority – Feasibility study for receiving stockpiling and ship loading of woodchips.
Cargill Salt WA - Overland transportation of salt , stockpiling and ship loading.
QNI Nickel Refinery Townsville QLD – In conjunction with Brambles Industrial Services development of a strategic ore haulage and solar dying system for low grade nickel concentrate.
Mt Isa Mines Mt Isa – In conjunction with Brambles Industrial Services, develop concepts for the receival and handling of lead zinc ore, analysis of stockpiling requirements and preparation of concepts for truck unloading and ore transfer to silos.
Contractual & Technical Evaluations
Minter Ellison – Support Evans and Peck in a detailed contractual and technical evaluation of Thiess/Hismelt piping contract to establish if a basis exists for a legal claim for additional compensation.
Worsley Alumina - On behalf of Evans and Peck conduct an independent evaluation of tender submissions for $35m Worsley DCP Upgrade Project.
Onesteel Whyalla Steelworks - Review and comment on costs estimates prepared by Metplant Engineering Services as a requirement of firming PC sums, changes to PDS scope and cost issues identified by TQ’s for the SMR crushing Plant Upgrade Contract.
United KG - Audit of BHP Billiton Western Stockyard contract for 10,000tph iron ore conveying stacking and reclaiming system to identify reasons for variations between tendered quantities and cost against actual as built quantities and cost.
United KG - Independent audit of tender prepared for mechanical and structural works for Hismelt iron production facility at Navel Base WA, for corporate head office.
SA Water Corporation - Independent cost assessment of mechanical aspects of a proposed $100m high salinity waste water treatment plant to be located at Port Adelaide SA.

Sydney Airport - 10 year strategic airfreight plan.
Sydney Airport - Common user freight bypass facility- feasibility assessment and project management.
Nanjing Logistics Centre China - Design of airfreight facilities.
Sydney Airport - International freight facility Northern Lands Sector study.
Food Industry
Big Island Brewing – Independent engineering audit of start-up costs for a proposed new brewery to support capital raising.
Fertal Holdings – Independent assessment of Hazelmere Rendering Plant upgrade costs to support application for bank funding.
Peters and Brownes – Review milk transportation operations research best practice, develop concepts to improve procedures and transport operations, cost benefit analysis, management reports and recommendations.
Harvey Beef – Feasibility assessment, design and project manage a $4 million upgrade to the beef slaughter floor to improve safety, efficiency and to reduce production costs.
Peters and Browns – Report on operation of food services division, highlight operational inefficiencies. Conduct feasibility study for replacement facility incorporating best practice.
Botswana Meat Commission Botswana – Turnkey design construction project of a by-products rendering factory, effluent treatment plant.
